Chandler – TG1 Abbey Road Edition

Stereo Limiter/Harmonic Distortion Generator

Rupert Street Recording, Mixing, ATMOS & Video Production in Waterloo, ON, Canada

Vintage Vibe, Legendary Glue

The Chandler TG1 Abbey Road Edition is a stereo limiter and harmonic distortion generator modeled after the legendary EMI TG12413 used at Abbey Road Studios in the late ’60s and early ’70s. At Rupert Street Recording, we love using the TG1 to add vintage glue, rich coloration, and musical compression to everything from drums and vocals to full stereo mixes.

Fun fact: This unit is inspired by the same gear used on The Beatles’ “Abbey Road” and Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon,” and remains a go-to for producers who want vibe, punch, and analog warmth with unmistakable character. It’s not just a compressor—it’s a sonic signature.
