The Fairchild 670 is a legendary stereo tube compressor and one of the most iconic pieces of studio gear ever made—renowned for its incredibly smooth response, musical saturation, and unmistakable warmth. At Rupert Street Recording, this rare vintage unit brings unmatched character and control to mix bus, vocals, drums, strings, and just about anything you put through it.

The Fairchild 670 has been used on countless historic recordings by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Motown greats, and was inducted into the TECnology Hall of Fame in 2007. With only a few hundred ever made, we feel incredibly lucky to have this piece of audio history in our collection.
