The Neve 2254/R is a legendary diode-bridge limiter/compressor known for its rich, warm tone and unmistakable punch. A modern rackmount reissue of the classic 2254, it brings vintage mojo to today’s workflows with the same transformer-balanced signal path and silky dynamic control that made the original a studio staple. At Rupert Street Recording, it’s a go-to for adding weight to drums, glue to mixes, and that signature Neve sheen to vocals and instruments alike.

The original Neve 2254 was used on countless iconic albums from the ’70s and ’80s—including work by Fleetwood Mac, Queen, and David Bowie—thanks to its smooth, musical compression and bold sonic footprint.
