At Rupert Street Recording
Recording
We believe the greatest sounding records are the result of pristine clarity and analogue warmth.
At the heart of our recordings is the Neve 5088 console patched to the finest collection of vintage and new analogue outboard gear including API, Pultec, Fairchild, Urei, and Universal Audio processing.
Recording, Rewired for Creativity
Your signal chain will begin with our curated collection of the finest mics – Telefunken, Coles, Neumann, Royer, AKG (and much more) and end with your preference in DAW (Logic, Protools, Ableton, Reaper) or ANALOGUE (Studer 24-track 2” tape machine) or BOTH. We know how inspiration happens – that’s why connectivity is the key in every aspect of the studio.
Each keyboard and guitar amp is hardwired to be routed into the console instantly. With a dozen patch bays, state of the art signal conversion and perhaps the cleanest, most isolated electrical signal on the planet, Rupert Street Recording wiring architecture sets the new standard.
Electric guitars can be tracked through our collection of vintage tube amps or a rack of iconic heads instantly patchable to the cabinet of your choice.
Keyboard players will not find a more complete and inspiring collection of synths, pianos and organs to choose from. The studio layout offers clear sightlines between the live and isolation rooms for maximum recording interaction. Your music, in all its clarity and warmth, comes together in the spacious and comfortable Studio A control room.
